AM -300 The Seven Angry Gods strike the world. The Crucible Lands are formed and the great city of Ool is destroyed. Knowledge and Kindness hold back from the strike and thus the world survives.
AM 0 Glorious Order Mora, a hobgoblin soldier and leader of rare ability comes to the end of a long life. Her conquests of much of the north form the basis of the first great nation since the gods lost their names.
AM 20 The lands conquered by Mora and her legions are consoladated into the Morazuin Empire
AM 1277 The Grand Kingdom of Kron-Nesis is founded
AM 1348 The Empire of Morazuin crumbles from within. The goblinoid races migrate to other kingdoms over the coming decades.
AM 1350 (CR 0) Many of the southern kingdoms have their origins around this time. The first High Priest of Valon proclaims a new era. Despite the High Priest’s attempts to name the calendar after the god Valor, it is the more prosaic name of Common Reckoning that survives the centuries.
CR 1076 (AM 2426 DR 0) Dire prophecies come from the Tieflings of Ithell. The star sages report that a new age begins. The calendar known as Dragon Reckoning begins.
DR 0 The ancient red dragon Krevvixarr, accopanied by a horde of dragonspawn, emerges from The Crucible and spreads fiery devastation across Estorna
DR 4 The Dragon Princes of Urland dissolve their kingdom; sorcerers and dragonborn citizens of Urland join the dragon hordes
DR 5 Ironstead, the dwarven citadel and seaport, takes in the refugees fleeing Urland and in so doing seals its own destruction
DR 7 Estorna falls to the first dragon horde. Few wood elves or spirit folk survive. The horde of Krevvixarr turns south to attack the Kingdom of Vesh
DR 8 A second dragon horde, comprised of mostly green- and black-scaled dragonspawn, swarms south out of the Fell Downs. Nyrae loses much of its territory and Lastwall is besieged.
DR 11 Shandri Hamal, a young half-elf paladin of the Knights of Valon and Kinos, Archmage of Vesh, slay the red dragon Krevvixarr at the gates of Arylon.
DR 12 As Urland falls into savagery, Ironstead can no longer feed its citizens nor the refugees that have filled its streets. Ironstead falls to a blend of siege from without and riots from within.
DR 20 A dragon horde of silver- and blue-scaled beasts crosses into Vesh. The elven kingdom of Illvandrin and the Achclericy of Valon ride to the aid of their long-time rival.
DR 21 Lastwall falls but Eamonvale is spared the brunt of invasion as most of the second dragon horde continues to struggle against the shadar-kai forces of Nyrae
DR 30 Eamon Lurana, younger sister to the lord of Eamonvale, gathers famous adventurers into the grandly named Company of Hope and leads them north into the Crucible Lands. None of the heroes are seen again.
DR 35 A horde of bronze-, copper-, and brass-scaled dragons emerges from The Crucible Lands. After battles against the forces of the Crow King, it begins the 20-year siege of Skraag
DR 41 Kinos, Archmage of Vesh, dies fighting the blue dragon Kisellva and three blue-scaled kobold sorcerers of great power
DR 43 Arylon falls. The armies of Vesh fall back into Valon. The elven host pulls back into Illvandrin to defend the forest heart.
DR 45 (AM 2471 CR 1121) Across the southern kingdoms, the dwarves decide to seal their citadels. They announce that they are not fighting the dragons and that none but dwarves are allowed within their lands. Only Runehelm, long an ally of Eamonvale, remains unsealed.
DR 51 The white dragon horde, having travelled through much of the north, crosses the Cold Sea into Ithell. The star mages of Ithell turn back the white horde at great cost.
DR 54 Nyrae falls to the green/black dragon horde. The Crow King leads his remaining forces into The Ashen Wastes
DR 55 Skraag, the city of the troll king, falls. This ends the battle around that city known as the 20-year siege. Dragon hordes rampage unchecked through the fang lands.
DR 56 Refugees from Ithell arrive in Illvandrin. They claim that the Court of Stars has fallen to monstrosities and madness unleashed when the white horde attacked.
DR 61 Highrock Falls; at the request of the High Priest, the half-elf musician Kellia smuggles the Scepter of Valor and the Great Banner of Valon into Kron-Nesis
DR 62 Shandri Hamal, Grand Paladin of the Knights of Valon, leads a rag-tag force into Eamonvale. There she slays the black dragon Axxinoth
DR 65 Eamonvale falls to the green and black horde. Dun Eamon itself remains unconquered, and the broken forces of Skraag, Vesh, and Eamonvale strike out from Dun Eamon for years to come.
DR 68 The armies of Kron-Nesis, reinforced by the last company of mage-knights of Vesh, shatter the green/ black horde near the Sea of Woe but suffer great losses.
DR 69 Great battles are fought throughout the Darakeene Protectorate, the Grand Kingdom of Kron-Nesis, and Illvandrin.
DR 70 A horde of gold-scaled dragonspawn emerges from The Crucible. Many of the remaining red-scaled dragonspawn swell its numbers.
DR 72 The silver dragon Ardanna slays Shandri Hamal in single combat. The few surviving Knights of Valon leave Eamonvale on a mission to return her body to the ruined grand temple of Highrock. None return.
DR 74 The elven greathost of Illvandrin defeats the blue and silver dragon horde at the river Illvar. The host buys time for many refugees to flee toward the coast but is in turn destroyed weeks later by the golden horde.
DR 75 Last contact with the Dominion of Kelnore arrives in Tarantis. The Kelnore delegation begs Kron-Nesis for aid but is refused. Kron-Nesis itself loses most of its territory north of Tarantis.
DR 77 The sea dragon Yalthurin covers Ardwall with a titanic wave. The Kingdom of the Sea Lords falls.
DR 78 Arathene and Curael Endar fall. The Forest Heart burns.
DR 80 Nithis Galharion, a woodelf master archer, fells the gold dragon Cellentarnax amid the ruins of Arathene but does not survive the triumph as goldscaled dragonborn overwhelm him.
DR 84 Tarantis falls to a combined horde of silver, blue, black, and green dragonspawn under the command of the silver dragon Ardanna
DR 86 Runehelm, the last open dwarven city, seals its doors and bars non-dwarves from entering
DR 86 A dwarven envoy offers to shelter Eamon Valara, the only daughter of Eamon Rex, the Lord of Eamonvale, within Runehelm. Eamon Rex refuses.
DR 87 The Crow King kills the white dragon Nixvarian in the Ashen Wastes. Weakened by his injuries, the Crow King succumbs to the curse of the shadar-kai and fades into shadow.
DR 89 Dun Eamon falls, signaling the end of effective resistance to the dragon hordes. Eamon Rex dies on the walls of the Grey Citadel. Eamon Valara’s fate is unknown.
